Mandla Mandela, The grandson of late former South African president Nelson Mandela, has arrived at Lahore Airport to attend ‘Tajdar-e-Khatam-e-Nabbuwat Conference’. He was invited by Dr Tahirul Qadri head of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) which he gladly accepted saying;
I am very happy to come here. I am not here for any political interests, my grandfather also loved Pakistan.
said at the airport while talking to media. He further added that he is proud to celebrate Eid Miladi-un-Nabi with the people of Pakistan.
He is also a member of South Africa Parliament but he clarified that this visit is to celebrate Milad un Nabi with the people of Pakistan and there no are political motives behind this. Mandla Mandela’s first visit to Pakistan after accepting Islam in 2016. He has arrived from Medina, Saudi Arabia.
