Internet sensation Logan Paul is back after his three-week break from You Tube. Earlier Logan uploaded a video, discussing suicide prevention, in which he pledges to donate $1 Million to organizations working for this cause. His video is titled as “Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow”, through which he hopes to make a difference in this world.
In the video Paul says, “It’s time to start a new chapter in my life as I continue to educate both myself and others about suicide. I’m humble and thankful to say this is just the beginning… It’s time to learn from the past and get better and grow as a human being. I’m here to have a hard conversation so that those who are suffering can have easier ones… I know while I’m not able to solve the problem by myself, I want to be a part of the solution.”
The purpose of his new video is to minimize the backlash which occurred from Paul’s video “We found a dead body in the Japanese suicide forest”. In that video, Logan and his friends are seen joking around when they discover a dead body in Japan’s Aokigahara forest. Several parts of the dead body were filmed and the accompanying picture of thevlog also showed the body in the background. His video featuring corpse of a person caused massive outrage among people all over the world and You Tube dropped Logan Paul as preferred ad partner and begun removing him from several projects.
To save his trembling You Tube Empire, he then uploaded an apologetic video and went for a break to reflect on his actions. Yesterday, Logan’s mother uploaded a picture showing hoards of fan-mail that family received in support of Logan Paul. And today, he is back with a video revolving around his thoughts on suicide, which is already trending top on You Tube and has a million views.
It is also worth noting that Logan’s child/teen fan base never abandoned him over the suicide forest video. And now they all are welcoming him back with comments like “Be brave” and “wow”. Even though Logan might not be liked that much as he was before the suicide video, but he still has his child fans to watch his vlogs and buy his merch.
